Its easy to get to Niagara Falls from Buffalo City as you can use public transport, hire a car or join a tour group.
Buffalo has a local airport that is a serviced with direct flights to Buffalo from most major US cities everyday. Because of its proximity to Niagara Falls, Buffalo also has a higher number of flights from national travel hubs such as Chicago & New York City.
Buffalo is also home to several State University of New York campuses which are also known as University at Buffalo. Buffalo benefits from being located on the shores of Lake Erie which drains via the Niagara River which offers a great range of water sports and an active outdoor lifestyle. Niagara Falls State Park is actually located within New York State but you can easily walk across Peace Bridge to see Niagara Falls from the Canadian side.
